The mission of the Caloosa Hammock Ranch is to provide a place with overnight housing where churches, schools and organizations can meet for planning, education, renewal, and recreation.

Exciting things are happening with the donation of 8 acres of The Glades property to the non-profit foundation established by Glades owner Jon Loftis. The long envisioned retreat center is becoming a reality.

The retreat center, to be known as Caloosa Hammock Ranch (CHR), will initially be a 100 bed facility built to resemble an Old West town. The location of the CHR is separated from the RV sites by the golf course and the canal.

CHR partners with the Hendry County Rodeo Association to provide rodeo events.
